Record numbers expected as TechFest returns to Coventry

14th July 2026: TechFest, presented by GSF Car Parts, will return to the CBS Arena on Thursday 16th July 2026 for its flagship garage technology festival. It is the sixth TechFest hosted by the motor factor, with the event growing into a must-attend date in the aftermarket calendar.

A record number of aftermarket professionals are expected to attend alongside over 80 leading aftermarket suppliers. The event is free to attend, with food, drink, parking and giveaways included. Doors open at 3pm and the event continues into the evening, with attendees welcome to arrive at any point during the event.

Coventry and Warwickshire sit at the heart of the UK’s most significant automotive cluster, with more than 120 years of engineering and manufacturing heritage. The region is home to 12 vehicle manufacturing sites and 15 dedicated R&D centres, giving it one of the highest concentrations of automotive expertise anywhere in Europe.

The city is also home to a significant concentration of independent garages and technical services, supported by strong transport links and an ageing vehicle parc. At GSF, this is reflected in rising demand for diagnostics, EV and hybrid components, specialist tooling and same-day availability across core service and repair parts. The company continues to invest in stock depth, availability and technical support to meet the needs of workshops across the West Midlands.

TechFest Midlands comes at a time of strong growth for GSF, which recently reported revenue growth of more than 25% and has already opened 12 new branches this year.

Steve Horne, Chief Executive Officer at GSF Car Parts, said, “Independent garages are adapting to some of the biggest technological changes our industry has seen, and having access to practical training and trusted supplier support has never been more important.

“TechFest challenges the status quo by bringing that support directly to workshops, giving technicians the opportunity to get hands-on with the latest products, ask questions, share knowledge and leave with ideas they can immediately put into practice. Following the fantastic response to last year’s event, we’re delighted to be bringing TechFest back to Coventry.

“The West Midlands remains one of the UK’s most important automotive regions, making Coventry the perfect location to bring together garages, technicians and suppliers from across the aftermarket.”
