GSF-backed Seb Crawford earns spot at Rotax Grand Finals in Portugal

9th October 2026: GSF Car Parts is proud to announce that its rising star driver, Seb Crawford, has qualified for the Rotax World Grand Finals in Portimão, Portugal.

Held at Portugal’s iconic Kartódromo Internacional do Algarve, the Rotax Grand Finals brings together the world’s elite kart racers for a week of intense competition, with national champions from more than 60 countries battling for one of the sport’s most coveted titles.

After finishing as vice champion in the Ultimate Karting Championship, 11-year-old Crawford secured his place on the grid for the Rotax Grand Finals, which begins on 7th November and concludes on 14th November.

The Rotax Grand Finals has helped launch the careers of several drivers who have gone on to compete at the highest levels of international motorsport, including Formula One.

This year, Crawford has also won The Kart Championship, a major national competition where he finished the season on top in the Micro Max class, in addition to being the Southwest champion. Since the beginning of the 2026 season, GSF has proudly partnered and supported Crawford at every race.

Seb Crawford said: “It feels great to have success this season. I learn something from each on-track opportunity. A big thank you to GSF for their support and belief in me, as well as my amazing engine builder ‘AAM Race Engines’ and Danrow Aerosuit supplier ‘Custom Racewear’ that have allowed me to perform at my best.

“I can’t wait to go to Portugal and compete against some of the best drivers in the world.”

Steve Horne, Chief Executive Officer at GSF Car Parts, added: “Seb has done himself proud throughout the season, delivering some incredible performances and showing remarkable consistency.
