Clean sweep for GSF Clean Racing at 2025 Porsche Sprint Challenge GB season opener

28th April 2025: GSF Clean Racing enjoyed a dominant start to the 2025 Porsche Sprint Challenge GB season at Donington Park (26 -27 April), celebrating podium finishes in all three races, including three class wins for Matt Kyle-Henney. The weekend also marked Aimée Watts’ Porsche racing debut with the team.

GSF Car Parts welcomed 24 local customers to the circuit with a full hospitality experience, including a private box, terrace viewing, Meet the Team sessions, and exclusive garage tours offering insight into the fast-paced world of professional motorsport.

“We’re incredibly proud to see GSF Clean Racing deliver such an outstanding performance at Donington Park to open the 2025 season,” said Alistair Preston, Chief Customer Officer at GSF Car Parts. “It was fantastic to celebrate this success alongside our customers at the circuit, and we’re excited to support the team throughout what promises to be a very competitive season.”

The opening round on Saturday 26th April saw Matt Kyle-Henney start from pole position in the Am class. After initially dropping to P2, he fought back with an impressive move through Craner Curves to reclaim the class lead, securing victory along with the fastest Am class lap of the race (1:08.349).

Aimée Watts’ Porsche Motorsport debut was cut short after an incident on lap three of race one. Unfortunately, the car couldn’t be repaired in time to contest rest of the weekend.

In round two on Sunday 27th April, Kyle-Henney delivered another strong Am class performance. Starting P1 in class on the grid, he slipped back to P3 in the early stages, but fought back and recovered to P2. He reclaimed the class lead on lap 11, securing his second Am class win of the weekend.

The final round saw Kyle-Henney repeat another perfect result. Starting on pole he defended strongly to maintain the Am class lead throughout, engaging in a tense final-lap battle with a Pro driver in an attempt to move further up the overall order. Kyle-Henney held firm to secure his third consecutive Am class victory and complete a perfect weekend.

GSF Clean Racing leaves Donington Park leading the Am standings, setting the tone for a promising 2025 season. The next race weekend will take place at Brands Hatch on 10th and 11th May.
