GSF Car Parts wins global Schaeffler award

14th April 2025: GSF Car Parts, the UK’s fastest growing motor factor, has won the prestigious ‘Overall Best Performance Award 2024’ from Schaeffler Vehicle Lifetime Solutions.

The announcement was made at the N! Business Forum 2025 held in Abu Dhabi on 9th April. Hosted by NEXUS Automotive International, the event enables the NEXUS global community to share ideas on best practice and future market developments.

In making the award, Schaeffler VLS highlighted GSF’s commitment to ‘a proactive and transparent approach’ alongside ‘strong commercial focus and sustained sales growth’ within the UK.

GSF grew sales by over 20% in 2024 on the back of investing over £100m in a raft of projects and improvements which included the opening of a flagship 500,000 square foot national distribution centre (NDC) in Wolverhampton.

Schaeffler further noted GSF’s commitment to garage customers, demonstrated through the active promotion of REPXPERT training, right across its network of 200 branches.

Mark Dolloway, Managing Director of Schaeffler VLS UK, said: “GSF’s engaged and knowledgeable teams mirror Schaeffler’s values of passion, excellence, and continuous improvement. We’re delighted to recognise the seamless cooperation between our businesses, reflecting the highest standards of operational discipline and trust.”

Dev Satpathy, Chief Commercial Officer at GSF Car Parts, said: “We’re delighted to receive this award and our commitment to Schaeffler VLS forms part of our wider strategy of sourcing from the world’s leading manufacturers to ensure our garage customers can access the best products, expertise and support available to help them thrive.”

Steve Horne, Chief Executive Officer at GSF Car Parts, added: “Our thanks go to Schaeffler VLS for this prestigious recognition. GSF’s sales growth during 2024 was exceptional and we rely on the support of world-leading manufacturers as committed to supporting garages as us.”
