GSF Clean Racing extends Porsche championship lead with more podium success at Brands Hatch

12th May 2025: GSF Clean Racing continued its strong 2025 Porsche Sprint Challenge GB campaign with another standout performance at Brands Hatch (10–11 May), securing two Am class victories for Matt Kyle-Henney and a first Porsche podium for Aimée Watts. The team’s results over the three-race weekend sees it extend its lead in the Am class standings.

GSF Car Parts also hosted local customers for a VIP motorsport experience, including hospitality in a private box, terrace viewing, Meet the Team sessions, and exclusive garage tours offering behind-the-scenes insight into professional race operations.

“It’s fantastic to see the GSF Clean Racing team continue to perform at such a high level. Matt’s double victory and Aimée’s first podium are testament to the hard work and determination of everyone involved,” said Alistair Preston, Chief Customer Officer at GSF Car Parts.

The opening race on Saturday saw Kyle-Henney start from pole in the Am class, but a lap one incident at Surtees forced him into the gravel, ending his race early. Watts, meanwhile, launched a strong recovery drive from near the back of the field. Following a safety car period, she made rapid progress with several confident overtakes on her way to setting the fastest Am class lap (47.679 seconds) and earning valuable championship points.

Sunday’s first race saw a return to form for Kyle-Henney, with a controlled drive which he led from start to finish to secure a dominant Am class win and fastest lap (47.866 seconds). Watts also made-up early ground, climbing to P4 at one point before finally finishing fifth in class.

The final race of the weekend delivered more drama and celebration. Kyle-Henney climbed from P8 on the grid to P5 within the first three laps. He picked off his rivals one by one to take a second win of the weekend, along with the fastest Am lap (47.637 seconds). Watts battled from P14 on the grid, making a string of clean overtakes to secure her first podium of the championship with a hard-fought third-place finish in class.

GSF Clean Racing leaves Brands Hatch with a nine-point lead in the Am standings. The team will return to action at Oulton Park on 21–22 June.
