20^th January 2026: GSF Car Parts, the UK’s fastest-growing motor factor, is urging independent garages to capitalise on sustained demand for air suspension work, driven by an aging car parc which has risen to 9.5 years old in the UK, and the rise of tech-laden electric vehicles (EVs) entering regular MOT cycles.

Motorists are increasingly holding onto their cars due to cost-of-living pressures and improved reliability. At the same time, EVs (typically heavier than ICE equivalents) place greater loads on chassis components, increasing the potential for wear and tear. These trends point to long-term, high-value workshop demand for suspension expertise.

Air suspension is a growing area in the passenger car industry. Up until recently, high costs and unfamiliar technology meant most garages would only consider an OEM-origin product.
